The best kept secret, it is really home to one of the most beautiful coves in Malibu. A fence separates the parking area and picnic space, but just past the fence one will find paradise. This has been a secret spot of mine for the past two years, but since I am leaving Santa Monica soon I wanted to share this beauty with the online world. I do not want to give away the exact location, however if you get on PCH and just drive until you see the coast split by two rocks (the car commercial scene) and park, you will find this gem.
MALIBU, Calif. - The car commercial comes to a close with a beautiful scene driving up the Pacific Coast Highway. The image when the road cuts through the rocks right next to the coast, that one. Well, this stretch of the Pacific Coast Highway is not too far outside of Los Angeles proper. Thirty minutes up the coast, about fifteen minutes past the Malibu Pier, one will find the car commercial backdrop they have seen multiple times.

SANTA MONICA, Calif. — The cold weather across the United States even affected California this year and Spring was welcomed by residents in West Los Angeles. With temperatures dropping to 50 degrees in the evening, the warmer weather has resurrected the beach lifestyle and melancholy mood of Southern Californians. Vibrant, light and playful colors again fill up the landscape and people of Santa Monica.
